We provide what you need to get out there.

Back Country Rentals is local and family owned in Spokane Valley. From our pick up location, our renters have easy access to numerous lakes and rivers, almost all of which offer beach or boat ramp access and include swimming, picnic tables, easy parking, and all-day hours! When you rent from us, we happily show you how to carry, secure, haul, and use each piece of equipment.

We offer the convenience of all day rental so you can recreate when you want and where you want for a price that won't break the bank!


NEED TO KNOW:
Must be 18+ to rent.
Must have valid, current, government ID (DL, Military, etc.)
Must sign liability waiver for each user (18+ can rent for a youth user but must be legal guardian to sign liability waiver for youth user). 
Rental cost is paid at time of pick up via credit card.
Renter signs rental agreement to cover cost of damaged/lost equipment.
Rentals are picked up before 8am and returned before 9am.
Multi-day discount available.
20% discount for military, veteran, and dependants (just show your card)!

Kayaking Days

You can be out on the water at any of our local lakes in no time!  Our recreational kayaks are designed to be easy to haul and move, stable for all levels of experience, and comfortable for hours on the water, if you choose. 

These name-brand kayaks each track easily and provide plenty of storage room to pack your stuff.

We include everything you need to get out there in your daily rental price: kayak, paddles, and life jacket. We offer additional add-ons to make things even easier, such as a dry bag (water proof) to store your belonging, spray natural sunscreen, fishing net, and things like that.

We offer easy pick up location with large drive to back in an load up.

2025 season:

1. 2025 season is now open. 

2. Arrive in your pick up window on your scheduled day between 7 a.m. and 8 am in Spokane Valley.

3. Be sure to bring a vehicle with bed, racks, or trailer to haul your rental equipment safely. 

4. Enjoy  being out there all day! How many lakes can you hit in one day?

5. Return your rental equipment before 9 pm. 

6. Share your out there photos with us so we can highlight you on our website and on facebook.
